Pool Schedule
2009 Pool Rules
- Swimming allowed only when pool is open. Hours are posted on pool calendar on the website www.burnthickorylakes.com. Slide will be closed during swim at own risk (SAOR)
- No solo swimming unless lifeguard present.
- No diving.
- Ages:
- No one under 18 is allowed in pool area during SAOR without an adult member present. An adult member is considered 18 or over.
- No one under 16 is allowed in pool during “lifeguard breaks”, the last 10 minutes of each hour.
- No one under 10 is allowed in pool during lifeguard hours without an adult family member present .
- No one over 5 is allowed in baby pool AT ANY TIME!
- Children 3 and under are required to wear swim diapers when in pool area. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Lifeguards;
- Have the authority to refuse admission of any member or clear the pool if they feel the condition of the pool/pool area does not allow for adequate supervision.
- Will clear the pool for a minimum of 15 minutes for thunder and 30 minutes for lightning.
- Are not responsible for monitoring the baby pool.
- Have the authority to determine who can ride the slide.
- Slide rules are posted at the top of the slide. Use slide only when pumps are operating. Do not wear any clothing with metal while riding the slide. NO TUBES/FLOATS ALLOWED.
- Guests are limited to 4 per household. Any minor resident (under 18) unaccompanied by a parent is allowed only 2 guests. Member must accompany guests at all times in pool area. Private reserved parties are not allowed at any time except for official neighborhood sponsored functions. Pool may close early for these functions.
- NO: smoking, pets, profanity, horseplay, ball throwing, playing on divider rope, bikes, skateboards, roller skates and anything else bad! NO furniture in the pool!
- Please clean up after yourself. No glass or gum.
- Lifeguard is only person authorized to select radio stations, control volume, etc. Personal radios/players must be kept at volume so as not to disturb others.
- Floats, tubes and other accessories are allowed only in shallow end of pool and only when lifeguards feel their use will not interfere with other swimmers.
Disciplinary Procedures
Lifeguards have full authority of the pool while on duty. When necessary the following disciplinary procedures will be followed.
Violent Offenses; 1st offense: 1 full day out of pool, 2nd: 1 full week out of pool, 3rd: Indefinite ejection from pool. The Board of directors will be referred for all violent offenses for possible further action.
Non Violent Offenses: 1st offense: Verbal warning, 2nd: 15 minutes out of pool, 3rd: 1 hour out of pool, 4th: 1 day ejection from pool and board of directors referred for further action.
Homeowner will receive written notice of all violent and 4th non violent offenses with details and further action taken by board of directors.
Problems and concerns with lifeguards or other pool issues should be brought to the attention of the All-in-One Management. 678-363-6479 Please avoid confrontations with the lifeguards.
